3 patterns designed to sew in a single piece for fan or other quarter circle quilts

It's hard to design patterns that work with a square block containing a quarter circle as the proportions vary widely. These work wonderfully and adapt to a variety of sizes. Use them for Dresden Plates, Stack-N-Whack fans, New York Beauty, etc. Please refer to the illustration enclosed with the pattern. We recommend that you draw your block on paper and stitch it without thread to get a feel for where the "curve" will sit if it is important to you. Patterns provided at 12" in all 4 versions plus a special 5" version for the PC Quilter.

UT1017 - Simple Fans 1 (for blocks with curved pieces)

Slightly more open than our complex fan patterns, this pattern is designed so that it can be used on smaller blocks.

In addition to Dresden Plates, Stack-N-Whack fans and New York Beauty, this set lends itself to being used with "Robbing Peter to Pay Paul", the popular sub-block that is part of Drunkards Path. Please refer to the illustration enclosed with the pattern. We recommend that you draw your block on paper and stitch it without thread to get a feel for where the "curve" will sit if it is important to you. Patterns provided at 12" in all 4 versions plus a special 5" version for the PC Quilter.

UT1018 - Baptist Fans 1

A traditional pattern in 3, 5, 7 and 9 bands.

CAUTION - this pattern is technically 'perfect" which means that each line that is supposed to oversew does! However, depending on tension, draw-in, or other factors you may experience difficulty lining up rows or have lines stitch a bit "off". For this reason, we recommend that you pre-baste your quilt. This pattern comes without support! We cannot help you trouble shoot the issues described above. To test if the problem is one of the above, you need to unthread your machine and sew the pattern out on paper. If there is no "shift", the problem is your fabric and "movement". If the pattern is still "off" on paper, it may mean an issue with your machine. 3 band pattern is provided at 5" and 5, 7 and 9 band patterns are provided at just over 10".

UT1019 - Corner Frame 1

First in a series designed to create elaborate frames around applique, embroidery or signature blocks.

These frames can be used individually as a small corner, paired up "on point" to create a stunning frame for a signature block or used on corners to frame a special block. There are two versions. The "plain" one can be used with added texture created by free motion or left alone. Provided approx. 12" high, but will sew out fine as small as 5".

UT1020 - Simple Serif Uppercase Alphabet 1

A simple character set for doing letters on qults.

This simple character set also includes a set of PDF templates to aid in placement. Provided 5" high, these characters can be sewn as small as 2" or as large as 7.5" with good results.

UT1021 - Simple Serif EXTRAS and Numbers

Expanding on our UT1020 package, this will let you add dates and punctuation.

PDF templates are included of all the numbers and punctuation. In the case of the punctuation, an extra X is included which shows the center of the pattern to aide in lining it up in relationship to the rest of the patterns.

UT1022 - Half Square Triangles - 2" for Long/Mid Arms
